The characteristics of inclusions form and distribution, grain size and brittle phase in castings were studied. The effects of ZG0Cr23Ni13 heat-resistant tempering chemical composition, metamorphic treatment, heat treatment and metal casting were studied. After complex testing, data statistics and comparison, it can be concluded that complex metamorphic treatment, metal casting, solid solution treatment and vacuum melting and other advanced processes are beneficial to improve the mechanical properties and thermal fatigue resistance at room temperature and high temperature to varying degrees, which is attributed to the refinement of grains, the elimination of brittle phase network structure and the improvement of inclusions shape and distribution. For metal materials, the use of different heat treatment processes will affect the structure and grain size, thus changing the difficulty of their thermal activation movement. In the analysis of casting failure, there are many factors leading to failure, mainly thermal fatigue leading to crack germination and development. Correspondingly, a series of factors affect the initiation and propagation of cracks, among which sulfur content is extremely important, because cracks mostly develop along sulfide. In addition to the influence of raw materials and smelting quality, the sulfur content of castings working in a hydrogen protective atmosphere will lead to sulfur infiltration if hydrogen sulfide is contained in the hydrogen. Secondly, whether the solid solution treatment is sufficient will affect the strength and toughness of the casting.
